Meet the Staff

Shirley Jacobsen

I have always said I’ll know what I want to be when I grow up. Well, I’m past grown up and I never found that one thing, and I am glad, as I have enjoyed all the endeavors I’ve found myself in. I’ve been a flight attendant, had my own massage therapy business, and been in the dental arena primarily in Periodontics and Endodontics. I joined Northgate Endodontics in 2006. In my free time, I enjoy nature walks, reading, and visiting with great friends.

Sarah Khorrami

I received my Dental Assistant certification in 2006 and joined Northgate Endodontics in November 2007. I wanted to work in the dental field since I was a child. I enjoy working with patients and making their visits as comfortable as possible.

Outside of work, I am a photographer specializing in newborn photography. I love camping in Eastern Washington and spending time with my family, including my two young children.

Lorna Koth

After staying home to raise my children, I took the dental assisting course at Lake Washington Institute Of Technology and I’ve worked in the dental field for the past seven years. I joined the team at Northgate Endodontics in December 2011. I enjoy working with the patients and strive to make them feel comfortable during their course of treatment.

In my spare time, I teach dance. I've taught dance for the past twenty years. I also enjoy Jazzercise and hanging out with friends and family, including my two children whom I am very proud of.

Adriana Ortiz-Cruz

I started working at Northgate Endodontics in 2016. I was ready to change my career path after running the bilingual center at Green Lake for 3 years. I am a type of person who likes to be challenged and my career path has taken me to work in the field of dentistry. I have enjoyed the time that I have spent here at Northgate Endodontics. I have been able to interact with our patients and learn a little bit of each and one of them. I can say that I love the job that I do because I learn something new everyday. I truly enjoy having the direct interaction with patients and I take it upon myself to make the patient's experience here as pleasant as possible.

I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. My family and I moved to Seattle at the age of seven and I have resided here ever since. I graduated from Tyee High School in 2008. I moved to Bellingham the following year and attended Western Washington University. I am the first in my family to graduate from a university. My mother has been my inspiration to continue with my education. I hope one day to return to school and receive my Masters in Education and Leadership. It is a passion of mine to help others in need and I love interacting with people.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I adore my two nieces Chloe and Zoey. I love dancing, hiking, cooking and baking. I enjoy playing Volleyball and Fastpitch. I enjoy watching football and soccer. I always like having fun and living life to the fullest.

Michelle Leadbetter

I joined Northgate Endodontics as part-time office manager in 2015, and I’m thrilled to work with such a great team. I find fulfillment in my duties in the office as I love helping others in small ways. I enjoy reassuring patients who have dental fears, and I am keen on helping people understand their dental insurance coverage so they can avoid surprises. Meeting new patients is something I look forward to each day.

In my free time I like to explore Seattle with my husband, make crafts of all kinds, and volunteer at a local soup kitchen. I’m excited to welcome my first child in June 2017..
